SCA LONDON HISTORY

SCA London was founded in 2014 by Ben Hanley, one of the founders of SCA Portland and UEFA A license holder. Ben had a vision to build a program to develop players not currently in the professional game and to provide a prosperous learning environment. SCA London is now considered one of the elite academies outside of professional soccer clubs. The academy consists of 60 players, many who have represented professional clubs at the youth level.

SCA London competes at the highest level of independent academy soccer in the UK, and also participates in one of the most prestigious youth tournaments in the world, the FA Youth Cup. SCA London is a full time academy, so players are at practice or competing in games Monday through Friday. In addition to providing first class soccer coaching, players are enrolled in a full time education program with qualified teaching staff on site.

Since its inauguration, SCA London has seen great success on and off the pitch and is looking forward to the launch of a SCA London Women’s Program and SCA Portland in 2019.
