SCA IN THE COMMUNITY

Community outreach is an essential aspect to the SCA experience, with the goal of using key values from the game of soccer to positively influence others. Our outreach program works with community stakeholders who support programs related to sports, education, the environment, family, and healthcare.

We seek to impact the community in the following areas:

By supporting Portland Adventist Academy with grounds and facility maintenance, scholarship support, sports leadership seminars, and college seminars.
By providing mentorship to local recreational soccer clubs through coach education, facility access, and player led sessions.
By partnering with local community organizations that positively impact the PAA neighborhood and community. SCA players and families will be strongly encouraged to donate volunteer hours.

Soccer Chance Academy is also a proud supporter of Street Soccer Portland. Street Soccer Portland is a nonprofit that uses soccer to help homeless, refugee and underserved communities discover their strengths and take positive steps forward in their lives.
