Maddie Streb
🎙️Parents: We are so glad we found SCA 3 years ago! 🙌🏽The supportive coaches and environment have been critical to Maddie’s development as a player. ⚽️Their emphasis on building confidence and letting players experiment and try new things has helped her make great progress while having fun and developing friendships! We are grateful for the opportunities and flexibility they’ve offered to continue challenging her and elevating her game. We’ve always felt that they genuinely care about the players and are committed to fostering growth in a positive environment which is a great community to be a part of. Thank you SCA! 🫶🏽⚡️
🎙️ Maddie:SCA has provided so many great experiences and opportunities that I am so happy to have had! 🫶🏽 I love how all the coaches really care about the players and their development. SCA has always been a place where I know I can make mistakes and learn from them. The environment is so kind and that made me feel comfortable and allowed me to grow a lot. They have helped me become the player I am and I’m so glad that I chose to come play here! ⚡️🏟️⚡️

THE INDIVIDUAL IS THE SYLLABUS
With its shared set of principles regarding development, the SCA development team places the player at the center and permits them to follow a non-traditional pathway.

Playing Time
SCA coaches take a patient approach and do not make playing time decisions based on age, size, and maturation bias. Instead, we invest in each individual.

Games Programs
We provide a unique games program that challenges conventional approaches to field size, single-gendered teams, and age groupings.

SCA INTERNATIONAL REACH
With its unique ties to its home club in North London, Portland-based SCA players have opportunities to travel abroad and connect closely with players in the UK.

SCA – Parent Connection
At SCA, we recognize that in order to impact a culture, parents also need to be a part of the process. We are committed to a strong parent-club relationship.

SCA Coaching Experience
SCA seeks coaches with high emotional intelligence who have traits of open-mindedness, empathy, self-reflection, curiosity, and courage.
